Sheree’ Simpson Grose started dancing at the age of two under the direction of her Mother, Beverly Simpson Cunningham, the original owner of Beverly’s Dance established in 1954. During her dance training as a child, Sheree took a special interest in Gymnastics, where she joined the Erwin Gymnastics Team in junior high school. Sheree’ earned honors of being top ranked by the United States Gymnastics Federation, and was ranked in the top three when she competed in the Junior Olympics. At the early age of 14, Sheree’ started teaching dance for her mother, and soon realized she had met her calling. Upon graduation of high school, Sheree’ became a certified United States Gymnastics Federation Judge, and opened a dance studio in Sneed, Alabama under the Beverly’s Dance name. She pursued a career of dance at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she was a member of Golden Girls, the prestigious dance team of UAB. In 1986, Sheree’ went into collaboration with her mother at Beverly’s Dance Inc. in Center Point, Alabama. During that time she became a member of Professional Dance Teachers Association, Dance Masters of America, Dance Caravan and Dance Olympics. In 1990, Sheree’ formed the Super Star Show Troupe which won hundreds of national titles throughout the years. She also won many choreography awards, as well as several other special awards with her show troupe. Sheree’ has continued her dance training under the direction of Barry Lather, Frank Hatchet, Linda Gauche’, Al Gilbert and many more well-known choreographers. Sheree’ became the owner of Beverly’s Dance Unlimited in 2003, when her mother officially retired. In 2007, she also opened the newest addition to the Beverly’s family, Beverly’s Dance of Moody. Sheree’ Simpson Grose continues to excel in teaching dance in a nurturing environment at both locations in Clay and Moody.
